SOPHIE KRABBE

Sophie is a Cinematographer, currently based in Berlin. At the age of 18, she moved from Germany to India (Mumbai). Having lived and worked in such diverse cultural environments, has deeply inspired her work.

With her camera, she aims to dive deeply into different realities, making them emotionally accessible to the audience: Striking visual storytelling which looks beyond the obvious, entertains and forms connections.

Sophie has worked on various national and international film productions in both, fiction and documentary.

She holds a BA in Anthropology / Sociology from Saint Xavier’s College, Mumbai.  Her cinematography skill set was trained at the reputed film university Konrad Wolf Babelsberg, Germany.
